In this episode we delve into the life of Zayd ibn Harithah. He is brought to the aunt of Hakim ibn Hizam, where they discover he was not always a slave, but became one once his village was raided and the tribe that did so sold him into slavery. He is to soon work for the Prophet Muhammad ( Pbuh) and his wife. While there he runs into his neighbor and finds out his family was safe and had not given up on looking for him. Zayd reveals that he is not a slave to the prophet, on the contrary, Muhammad (Pbuh) treats him with respect and dignity, like a son. Zayd’s father and uncle find out of what happened to Zayd and are overjoyed to see that his son is in a good place with a good man who is a descendant of Banu Hashim. Zayd then heads of to Ta’if with the prophet to spread the word of Allah.
