Duncan is telling a group of children hidden from enemy attacks in a cave in the middle of the desert. Duncan was upset with Saladin for interrupting while he was engrossed in telling a story about the fierce attacks from several giants. Duncan easily defeated them. The horrifying story surprises the captivated children. Tariq continues the story, and they are attacked by the wicked Candy Launcher and successfully defeat it. When they arrive at the Palace of Dia, Duncan is thrilled to see the golden door handle. Duncan tries to take it using an axe but suddenly gets hit by a powerful beam and changes. They successfully enter the Palace of Dia and are attacked by various terrifying giants in different forms. Saladin leads the attack.
