Following the map of Fluorine, Chip and the atoms go through a canyon where atoms of beryllium, carbon and silicon, live frightened by the earthquakes that occur and the giant footprints in the soil. They believe that a monster is around.

Chip and the atoms enter into a cave that is full of paintings on the walls. A gate blocks the way to the cave in a place where cells of chemical elements and an oven are piled up.
