The biggest jewel in this king’s crown is the fact he can hover high off the ground in search of prey! His yellow ringed kestrel eyes do much more than just make him look cool, they also give him the ability to see near ultraviolet light, allowing him see pee trails of voles, mice and other small creatures way down on the ground below.
