Ibn Battuta struggles and vehemently tries to find his money, however it is to no avail. He returns to search for the young men who hosted him after he had saved their friend, as perhaps he had dropped his money there. As he returns to search for them he is surprised to learn that they had left the city. Ibn Battuta returns to look for his money where he thought it could have been lost, as he recalls an incident where he bumped into someone at the gates of the cemetery. During his search for the money he hears an announcement being proclaimed by one of the prince’s soldiers asking for workers to aid with construction in Prince Salahuddin’s house.
